We want to especially thank Commissioners Munchak and Cordaro for their efforts to make this happen.
Glenburn Pond Neighbors congratulates Corey O'Brien and Mike Washo on their recent election success. We look forward to working with our future new commissioners in the continued progress of returning Glenburn Pond to its former glory and its tranformation into a new Lackawanna County Park.
Thanks also to Mr. and Mrs Atkins, owners of Patsels retaurant in Dalton for their generous offer of help in saving our pond.
Glenburn Pond needs your help!
Many of you have heard of the threat to Glenburn Pond. We will soon have more details on this website, but in the meantime, please see the maps and the newsletter below, the scanned articles and editorials), our photo gallery, and some of the correspondence to date.
We don't have a lot of time. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.
For more information, or to see how you can help, please contact Margaret McKay.
We need your financial help as well!
Legal efforts are underway, and while we have a lot of help from volunteers, we need financial help for court filing fees and bond requirements.
